[Impatex Netfreight Update] IMPORTANT ********Scheduled CHIEF Downtime on Sunday 17th January 2010 for CHIEF Cutover *******

[Notification of Netfreight Updates]

Dear All,

Please be advised that the CHIEF cutover from BT to Capgemini is 
scheduled for this weekend at  00:01 hours on Sunday 17th January 2010. 
At this time BT will close the system and the cutover will 
commence.Fujitsu and Capgemini will proceed with the Live Cutover and 
will restore the full service, working through the steps in the Cutover 
Plan. The outage is anticipated to be around 8 hours with a maximum not 
to exceed 12 hours once BT have taken the system down.

It is recommended that during this time ALL users are advised not to 
transmit any declarations to CHIEF as they will not be accepted. We 
would also recommend  that comms applications, ie:- Datashuttle, and 
Visual Message Gateway applications are shut down on your comms machine. 
This should keep the loss of messages to a minimum should anybody try 
and transmit declarations during the down time as they will sit in a 
queue and will be transmitted once the comms are restarted. Once the OK 
has been received from CHIEF, the various CSP's will all be informed 
that the system is back up and running, and the comms applications can 
be restarted.

***PLEASE ENSURE ALL CHIEF USERS ARE AWARE OF THIS DOWNTIME***
